This late 1700s canal side cottage is located within the grounds of Finsley Gate Wharf. Finsley Gate Wharf was once at the heart of Lancashire's Industrial Revolution and was granted over 3 million pounds for a total regeneration, completed in September 2021. The cottage, once the turnbridge keeper's home, is part of this regeneration and has been lovingly restored into a modern, quiet, yet centrally located guesthouse, a great place for reunions with easy access to local attractions. Our late 1700s 2 storey cottage is a very grand version of a large, detached 2-up 2-down house. We have divided the guesthouse into 4 rooms - 2 en-suite bedrooms and 2 large suites. This is a small unique guesthouse with just 4 room options. Like a hotel, all rooms have locks and you are also given a key to the cottage and the gate to the grounds of Finsley Gate Wharf. DESCRIPTION: The Buck En-suite Double Room, Sleeps 2 The Buck En-suite Bedroom is located on the first floor, it has new wooden flooring, a built-in wardrobe, and a desk/dressing table with mirror, hairdryer, lamp, and extension lead for charging phones and laptops. There are tea and coffee-making facilities with mugs, tumblers, short glasses, champagne glasses, wine glasses, and a fridge with a freezer. The new, minimal white bathroom leads off from the bedroom and has complementary TRESemmé shampoo and conditioner, Source shower gel, and handwash. Please note, there are plenty of spare toilet rolls in the cupboard under the sink. Bed linens and towels are provided. House Rules: - Check-in time is 1pm and check-out is 10am. - Smoking is not allowed. - Parties are not allowed - There are free parking on premises parking facilities available at the property. - Pets are allowed at the property.
