Captains Cottage is an award-winning holiday cottage and is the one retained by the developers partly for their own family use. Sensitively re-built from a former old smokehouse, the architect designed interiors are spacious and well-proportioned with double glazing, cosy efficient heating and an array of bathrooms/shower rooms. Old maritime Whitby with all its history, the famous 199 steps, the abbey, restaurants, pubs and museums are all within a short stroll.
