Set in Northumberland National Park near Greenhaugh, Crackin View Holiday cottage offers accommodation with a decking area and free WiFi. Our holiday cottage is part of the Crackin view guesthouse property with the advantage of its own private front door/entrance. It is all on ground level, please note two of our guesthouse bedrooms are above it. It comes with 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, a dining/living room area, a fully equipped kitchen, and a small decked area. There is a larger decked area with barbecues available also which is shared with guesthouse guests. We also have a heated indoor spa pool and sauna in our guesthouse which is available for both Cottage guests and guesthouse guests (no booking is required for use of the pool) Being a dog loving family our cottage is dog friendly, we do charge £5 per dog per night. The cottage is extremely popular with dog owners as there are fantastic forest walks close to the property Please be aware there are no dog walking areas on site. Kielder is 24 km from the holiday home. The nearest airport is Newcastle International Airport, 57 km from Crackin View Holiday cottage.

Crackin view cottage is our cozy self catering cottage. The cottage is part of the Crackin view building which we also run our guesthouse business from, we built Crackin View in 2012 as a family home. Although part of the building it does benefit from its own front door entrance. We believe your stay should be as relaxed as possible and so we offer all cottage guests the opportunity to join us in our dinning room for Marias famous full Northumberland breakfast should you not wish to cook for yourselves. We charge a small additional fee for breakfast. New to Crackin view is our heated indoor spar pool and sauna which is free for all guest in our cottage and guesthouse to use during their stay with us.
Crackin view cottage is hosted by husband and wife Maria and Steve. Both love welcoming and being as much help as they can for all their guests. (Check out our reviews). Maria and Steve built Crackin view as their family house in 2012, they have four children , two have now left home. Being very family orientated you will often see all of their children helping out to run and clean the cottage making it the perfect hide away for a stay.
The area of Tarset and kielder offers some of the most amazing walks and cycle paths in the Northumberland national park. We are located only 6miles from the vast Kielder lake and surrounding forest. The village of Bellingham is 5 miles away also and has a good selection of local run shops for you to look around. Bellingham also has an amazing heritage centre that will fill you with endless amounts of information about the North Tyne area where Crackin view is. The North Tyne valley also has its fair share of local pubs and restaurants, all very different to each other but all very special.
