Orchard Lodge is set in the ancient village of Flixton on the edge of the Yorkshire Wolds. Just 5 miles from Scarborough and 4 miles from Cayton and Filey, it is ideally situated for a short break or longer holidays exploring this beautiful part of North Yorkshire. Our guest accommodation is purpose built with Superking En-suite or Twin En-suite rooms throughout. We are ‘Dog Friendly’ and for our four legged friends, there is a fenced Orchard. We have our own car park for all guests. With secure storage and a drying room, we have excellent facilities for cyclists and walkers. Experience the magic of the Yorkshire coast and countryside. Orchard Lodge is ideal for those visitors who wish to escape the hustle and bustle of the town, whether touring, staying a while longer, or on business. Unfortunately we cannot take dog bookings though this site due the the limit of dog friendly rooms available
Orchard Lodge is owned and managed by Andrew and Lucinda Jenkins. It was built to blend in with countryside, and provides Superking or Twin en-suite rooms. The Orchard was planted 2001, and attracts a wide variety of bird life. We endeavour to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable, worthy of a return stay. We are pleased to welcome new and old visitors who enjoy our friendly and personal service.
With a pub just around the corner, and a discount at another, there is also easy access to evening meals. The surrounding villages and towns also have some excellent restaurants and pubs. With easy access to major routes, Orchard Lodge is ideally placed to reach a huge variety of places in the locality and beyond. We have easy access to beaches at: Filey, Cayton, Scarborough and Bridlington., We are just a short drive from the famous Yorkshire Moors, Scarborough to Whitby Rail Trail, the Locations for Dads Army, Heartbeat and the Royal. For Steam and railway enthusiasts: National railway museum at York, home of the Flying Scotsman. The North Yorkshire Moors Railway running from Pickering to Grosmont For Stately Homes: Sledmere House, the world famous Castle Howard, Scampston Hall, Burton Agnes For Concerts and theatre: The Scarborough Spa, The Scarborough Open air theatre, the Stephen Joseph theatre For attractions: The Scarborough Sea life Centre, Peasholm Park, The Scarborough Fair Collection, The Rotunda museum, Stained Glass centre at Cayton, Scarborough Cricket Club, Eden Camp
