Orles Barn dates from the 14th century when it was one of a number of farm buildings on this site. The only surviving part of the original structure is the former apple store. The low wall that edges the front lawn is the remains of a long building in which wooden clogs were once made for locals and passing workers. There are five charming rooms that feature Laura Ashley wallpaper and fabrics, and Farrow & Ball and Little Green colours, which are named after locally grown apple varieties, each with modern en-suite bathrooms and comfy beds. We are very pleased to welcome your dog as our guest. We welcome all dogs that are trained, well behaved, calm, non-aggressive, travel-savvy and accompanied by their owner. We don’t discriminate on breed or size, but we reserve the right to not accept dogs and request their departure from the facilities if they present themselves with aggressive behaviour, are unable to remain quiet. Please note that we will only accept 1 dog per reservation ! Enjoy a relaxing drink in our cosy Lounge where an honesty bar is offering a range of spirits and wines. ​ We would like to advise that there are building works undergoing on the the plot of land behind Orles Barn therefore there will be some level of noise between 8am and 5/ 5:30pm.
