We know how important it is to be able to relax in comfort when travelling away, and so creating a home-from-home in each of our properties is core to the ethos of our company. Each individual apartment/house has a fully equipped kitchen, with tea and coffee waiting for your arrival. A Smart TV is available to help you unwind after a busy day. High-quality linen and towels are provided as standard, and we provide a housekeeping service for those staying long enough to need it. Oh, and of course, there’s free Wi-Fi to keep you connected. We strongly believe that staying away from home shouldn’t mean you have to forgo comfort or convenience. Your accommodation shouldn’t be somewhere to simply sleep, but something that should enhance your stay and take it to the next level. Launched in 2021, the Ironworks apartments are a selection of premium 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments situated near the southern shores of Lake Windermere in the Lake District. 14 apartments across two blocks invite you to spend from a long weekend up to weeks in this tranquil and idyllic part of the world. Go for a hike or for a swim, take the historic Haverthwaite steam train up to Windermere or go kayaking on the River Leven behind the apartments. Horse-back riding and mountain biking options aren't too far away either. Each apartment comes with it's own parking space(s) and there's a lockable bike storage on site. All apartments are equipped with super-fast fibre WIFI, except for Apartment 6 & 19 and we use handmade, locally produced and eco-friendly toiletries and locally-roasted coffee.

It’s a place where you live with the lakes on your doorstep, with easy access to forests and fells. And although there’s greenery for miles around, it really isn’t far from many major cities in Northern England and Scotland, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Liverpool, and Manchester included.
