Rowton Retreats is based on a family farm within the South Shropshire Hills. We have a Holiday Cottage and two lodges, amongst an array of farm animals and wildlife. If you’re looking for a unique country getaway as a couple, family or group of friends where you can unwind, relax and explore the area then we have the perfect accommodation for you. If you’re looking for a country escape with endless walks, crystal clear star gazing and feel at one with nature – you have found the right place. Rowton Retreats is nestled within 300 acres of farmland. So there’s over 40 acres of woodland and wildlife areas, plus a number of private tracks you will be free to roam. We would love to show you the farm animals, including our cows, sheep, horses and chickens. Church Stretton 7 miles; Ludlow 8 miles; Bishops Castle 7 miles; Ironbridge 22 miles. Church Stretton is close by and nestles between the Long Mynd and Caradoc Hills, renowned for their scenic walks and excellent golf course. The historic towns of Bishop’s Castle, Ludlow and Shrewsbury are a short drive away, and offer magnificent castles, riverside walks, wonderful shops, pubs, restaurants, exciting theatres and a variety of festivals. Rowton Retreats is a perfect base for touring all of beautiful Shropshire at any time of the year.
