Welcome to 'The Chalet Somerset' We are an exclusive chalet 2 miles outside the county town of Taunton, in the Trull area. The chalet contains a separate bedroom, with king size bed and with a floor to ceiling gable end window looking out on 360 degree uninterrupted views. The kitchen has everything you would need to dine in with the latests addition of a Tassimo coffee machine. The lounge has freeview TV, comfy sofa and an Xbox. We encourage all of our guests to sit and admire the views on the elevated decking area outside the chalet and enjoy some al fresco dining surrounded by the rolling countryside. Parking is private and accessed only via an electric gate. Our chickens are very much integral to our family and we invite you to stroll down in the morning to collect freshly laid eggs for your breakfast! We are on hand as much or as little as you require us during your stay - we look forward to welcoming you soon!!

We are the Jones family, that is Rachel, Simon, Noah and Theo - Poppy the Golden doodle dog, Maple the double doodle and our 12 chickens. We have been hosting for 3 years on other booking platforms and are now excited to be listed on here as well. We love to holiday, meet new people and play a little golf along the way.

Taunton is the county town of Somerset. It is a thriving, forward-looking town where modern life sits alongside relics of its dramatic past dating back to Saxon times. The town is the retail capital of the county with all the top names in shopping, eating and drinking, as well as a wonderful mix of specialist and independent retailers. The town has won the Britain in Bloom award for large/small city - Vivary Park shows off this splendour. Taunton is also home to Somerset County Cricket Club.
