    「The beds were very comfortable. We could make coffee and tea, the bathroom and toilet were nice and clean. There was a lovely large communal kitchen with a large dining room. There were soft carpets everywhere.」

The Gatehouse property is set in a beautiful countryside, perfect for short breaks with friends and family. The amazing views can be enjoyed from our peaceful, tranquil home. Countryside walks are a must to see the surrounding landscapes and wildlife. Hatfield Forest is a short walk away and is highly recommended by our guests. We have a great outdoor area if you wish to sit outside , listening to the sound of the birds and spotting the odd rabbit or two. A great place to visit and stay. We provide a continental breakfast for you to enjoy with a wide selection of breakfast items. Unlimited tea and coffee during your stay with staff at hand for all your requirements. Nearest airport is Stansted Airport and is around 4 miles from The Gatehouse and is 1 mile to M11. There is a free parking during your stay but extra parking is available upon request.
