Set within a private country estate, our three bedroom cottage is the perfect little bolt hole to explore the local area or an idyllic hideaway to while away a few days in the countryside. *As this is a private home visitors are not allowed during your stay.* Picnic in the woods, sit in the park or spend an evening by the fire pit or in our traditional wood fired cedar hot tub, next to the lake. Set within 30 acres of private estate, your stay includes access to: - the lake - 5 acres of parkland - spinney - traditional wood fired lakeside hot tub - fire pit - adventure play ground - high speed internet - Netflix Built in 1885 as a coach house and stable block to the main house, the cottage was converted into accommodation for the Women's Land Army in WWII (you can still see some of their inscriptions in the beams). Open plan living/dining room with original beams, two ground floor bedrooms (one with en-suite), ground floor shower room and snug/third bedroom in the old grooms loft (with sofa bed). The bed linen is all white Egyptian cotton, with a good quality sofa bed in the third bedroom. If you book for 4 or less people but require three double beds there will be an additional charge for your stay to cover the additional linen. Unfortunately we cannot accommodate dogs or other pets.

Hosting isn't our main business, but it was such a shame for the old Coach House to sit empty in the grounds, so we decided to convert it into a holiday let. We invite you to come and explore the estate for a special trip away.

Set one mile outside a small village, with easy access to M1 and direct trains to London. Local attractions: Woburn Abbey and Safari Park, Paris House, Whipsnade Zoo and Milton Keynes SnoZone, theatre, bars, restaurants and shopping centre. Ample parking is available onsite. A footpath runs from the estate to the village with access to shops, takeaways, petrol and pharmacy (or you can make the short drive!).
