Exceptional property! Every staff member was amazingly friendly and quite helpful. The food in the Restuarant was quality and reasonable. Perfect for solo, couples or Family excursions. Wi-Fi was super fast. Did I mention Hadrian’s wall and Sycamore Gap are basically across the street!! :) We will be back!

The location was ideal for a one night stop with some fabulous Roman ruins hearby. The breakfast was great. Sadly I didn't make the best choice for dinner. The inn is well-run, clean, comfortable, and ideally located to hike some of the most amazing sections of Hadrian's Wall. The meals were great and the staff very friendly. We would return to the inn anytime!

Rooms rennovated to a very high standard, comfortable beds. Atmosphere in the hotel bar was very warm, friendly barman and waiting staff and friendly local customers. Dinner was amazing.
