The Langton Arms 4 stars

We really enjoyed our 2 night stay and would have been happy to extend it given the opportunity. The room was clean spacious and comfortable and given that they are built around the courtyard it felt as if we had our own patio outside. All the staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming and the food was well presented and delicious. The location in a peaceful country hamlet between Blandford and Wimbourne was perfect for a relaxing break and very dog friendly. An absolute gem.

Fantastic staff who made our stay so special. Lovely food from a comprehensive menu and good beers wines and spirit selection from the bar.

It was welcoming, immaculately furnished in the rooms to a very high standard. Every kind of extra you might need was provided. The breakfast was a good as it gets with plenty of choice (smoked salmon & scrambled eggs for me). It was easy to get to. The hosts were brilliant and it was walking distance from the main town.
