This boutique hotel is located in the village of Ticehurst in East Sussex. Bell In Ticehurst offers guests the choice between rooms and lodges within an old coaching inn.

This award-winning property has individually styled accommodation, some with free-standing copper bath tubs. Some rooms have exposed brick walls and all have hardwood floors. The beds have Somnus mattresses and all rooms have en-suite bathrooms.

The room was well decorated and very comfortable. I appreciated that there was a fan available for use. The pub is nicely restored and the gardens are beautiful. Dinner and breakfast were delicious.

The room was very comfortable - beautiful views across the Weald. The staff in the pub were very friendly, we ate there for dinner, decent vegan options. The bathroom was clean and well appointed.

Breakfast was excellent, ordered in advance for the time we wanted. The Inn is full of character and compares well with our first visit about 5 years ago. The food was on the whole really good and well served, even if my first choice had run out. The steak tasted excellent (but was a little chewy). I'd come back for the Harvey's beer alone!

Very friendly staff, cosy room and attractive pub with loads of character. Comfortable bed. Excellent location for exploring a number of attractions on the Sussex/Kent border. Pleasing that the pub is not directly on the main high street, so it is a peaceful spot. Dinner and breakfast very tasty.

Such a wonderful stay with Linda. She made me feel so welcome, recommended a local pub for dinner and laid on an exceptional breakfast. The bed was super comfy, room was spacious and she kindly upgraded me to the en suite as the other booking had cancelled. Highly recommended and will definitely be staying again :)

We booked 6 rooms to attend a family wedding nearby. We had 4 double altogether which had amazing views. We loved being able to all sit outside on the patio areas that joined our rooms together. We also booked another couple of twin rooms that were nearer the bar area. All rooms were spacious and clean. Good showers and comfortable beds. We had dinner in the garden from the pub. Everyone was happy with their food. We enjoyed our two nights stay and would highly recommend.

A lovely old inn. People running the site very nice, friendly and helpful. Donna was exceptionally helpful. Also the ambiance among the locals was good fun, we were included as well. We would definitely stay again. We came here to go to Batemans the National Trust property which also was lovely. A big thank you to Donna for decorating our table and the banners put up, it was an awesome result to see when we came down to dinner as it was my partners birthday. Thank you Donna and all.
