We loved our stay in Bulls head. The staff was very friendly, the room incredibly clean and the breakfast was nice to start our day with. Our dogs were welcome in the restaurant downstairs, and the food was very good as well! The location is a perfect starting point for beautiful hikes, particularly Mam Tor. We will definitely be back.

This location is a local pub in a tiny village. It is about 20 minutes from Bakewell and those 20 minutes are spent driving down country lanes...which I found to be a absolutely glorious. The space was clean and well maintained. The pub was charming. Everyone who worked there was lovely. Highly recommended this place.

Very comfortable room and spacious new bathroom we're just right for our small family. Lunch selections were excellent and breakfast very good. The owner was very hospitable and generously offered to drive us into town when we had trouble securing a taxi.

The large rooms were very comfy and the views from the window were wonderful. It is stumbling distance from some lovely taverns and cafés, so there’s plenty of choice for everyone. We loved the castle, the many caverns and breathtaking walks in the surrounding area of Castleton. We look forward to visiting again soon.

The town itself is lovely, everything you'd need for your stay. The Barn is located behind an amazing restaurant - I ordered dinner from them every evening, it was so good! As for the accommodation itself, it was ideal. Kitchen and living space upstairs so nice and private. The bedroom was spacious and comfy and the bathroom was modern and clean.
