Fantastic Inn, with amazing food and very friendly staff. The room was comfortable and the surrounding garderns were a dream. Very easy to get to and pretty close to Bath and the Cotswolds.

We loved everything! The building was amazing. 500 years old and still functioning as an inn! There was a cozy and quiet common area for guests on the second floor. Sometimes you could hear the clip-clop of horses going by under the window. Really makes you feel like you've gone back in time. Hard to describe in words. And the food at the inn was INCREDIBLE. We ate all our meals there. The staff were wonderful and helpful. The whole town is amazing. If you have a chance to come here, definitely stay at Sign of the Angel. It might be a little pricier but it is so worth it!! One-of-a-kind experience. Thank you!!

The inn is so charming with lovely gardens and a warm homey feel in our room as well as the restaurant/pub. Breakfast was delicious as were the meat pies and all the meals the chef prepared for us. Everyone, especially Carly, Brandon and Layla were happy to help us with anything we asked. Thank you all for a perfect first trip to the English countryside!

What a lovely place! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The people and the service are amazing, 10+ out of 10. Not only did they help get our luggage up the stairs, they found umbrellas for us to use on our outings and were there at every turn for anything we might need. The bar staff are super friendly and the cook was amazing. Breakfast is the best I've had, and there were several menu items to choose from. We stayed in the small apartment and really enjoyed having a separate area to watch TV and relax. All in all, we loved our stay here. We would like to return again some day and spend more time with these wonderful people. They truly are the best! ❤️

Great rooms above a quaint and homey pub. Book a meal also… my hubby felt like we walked into a movie scene where the locals are all happy, having a pint by the fire… great atmosphere

The staff and the feel of the pub was lovely. Fantastic atmosphere and the PIE and PINT was very very good. Room was perfect for what we wanted and very good price. Will 100% return when next in the area.
