The Plough Inn was a wonderful little place to relax before heading out of town via Gatwick. The pub was wonderful and the clientele was friendly and fun.

We stayed overnight to go for a hike next morning, breakfast included in the price were very tasty. Team on the side was very accommodating & friendly. We liked the place and we returned for a lunch after the hike. The food was delicious. I think one of best things about the room itself was the beautiful view of the garden. And the water pressure in the showers was amazing! Only advice, rent a car. If you coming on a train you have about 2km hike by the road to the Inn.

On this occasion we were unable to book where we wanted so chose the White Horse (as a better alternative), it pays to "think out of the box" sometimes, definitely on this occasion. In future I will not go to the "quicker" options. I can't fault The White Horse, staff, food, accommodation were all excellent & I understand why/how they are continuously winning awards.
