Location fab, very friendly, comfortable rooms....just a touch warm through the night but wouldn't put me off. Considering above a pub had a good sleep ...wasn't noisy. Allowed to leave our cases which was a great help as train wasn't until afternoon, fab location near everything, great little pub too with a great offer of a card stamp , buy 3 pints get next one free 👍 would defo stay again....five stars 😁 also had everything you needed in the room....the little bowl of sweets on the dresser is a cute touch too ...had an upstairs sun terrace , partly covered with tv showing the rugby 👍 great place to stay ...really enjoyed it. Thankyou

The room was large enough and clean. We really appreciated being able to park our car next door. We walked from the accommodation into Durham for dinner and then around the town. The next day we were allowed to leave our car in the carpark until after we'd finished seeing the cathedral in the morning which was really handy.

Amazing staff, very comfortable room, lovely beds. The breakfast was great. Karen was always asking me if I needed anything because I don't drink tea or coffee in the afternoon she gave me hot chocolate and mint tea decaf tea also. Really appreciate the hospitality.

La ubicación excelente con una parada de bus en la puerta y pasan cada 15 minutos autobuses al centro. La habitación amplia y limpia, la cama muy cómoda. El baño limpio, la ducha para una persona bastante amplia. Desayuno continental bastante completo. En resumen, nos a parecido excelente.

This is such a little gem! We stayed in Room 5. Beautifully decorated, thoroughly cleaned, a fabulous nights sleep and breakfast was exceptional (Compliments to the Chef!!). Daryl was very welcoming, as were the front house staff through to housekeeping. You will not be disappointed when you stay here!

Clean and well appointed. The check in was accomplished by the bartender at the connected Black Horse pub. He was very welcoming and helped us get to our rooms with our bags. The room and en-suite were clean and modern. Security was emphasized. Parking was behind the pub. The price was reasonable.

Friendly welcome and attention staff. Very comfortable rooms and lovely shower. The children loved the room and bunk beds. Some comments mention noise from the bar but we didn't find this a problem.
