Tom was great. Greeted us with a smile and was eager to help us at all times. Had a great conversation with a local during a pub visit which capped the evening. Breakfast was delicious and plenty of food. All around great experience.

Beautiful room, comfortable bed, quality linens and spotlessly clean. Nice to have coffee making facilities in the room and appreciated the seating and storage spaces. Breakfast was excellent, as was food ordered at other times. Unlike many other places there is plenty of free parking, and it’s a great base location for walks and trips around the area.

Although located near the Tavern the rooms were quiet with no noise. The room had all amenities needed. The location was excellent - close to lots of bars, restaurants and shops as well the lake.

location, the staff were amazing especially Kyle. the pub was super fun with the karaoke and food was great too. rooms were small but very comfortable.

Self checkin, great not having to worry about keys or key cards etc. Breakfast was superb, staff all young and very friendly and professional. Our room was the Goosy Foot, up a couple of flights of stairs, kept us fit, our friends had the Hive Tarn How suite more stairs but still manageable. We didn't eat in the hotel for dinner but the menu selection looked superb.

It was over two floors, lounge area down with shower room & toilet & great, beamed upper floor with copper bath - just need to mind your head if you’re tall! It was spotlessly clean & had everything you needed really. Bistro bar serving dinner & breakfast down one flight of stairs. Dinner was good. I’d stay again.
