excellent location on the harbour. Our room had a balcony and an excellent view. The room was very comfortable, but slightly smaller than expected. The buffet breakfast was good. There are lots of cafes and restaurants nearby and it was near the boarding point for Farne Island cruises.

Breakfast was really good. The food in the restaurant was fantastic. Our room was really large, free upgrade to D'Arcy suite, ample room for us and our pet dog. Clean and spacious and everything we needed.

The inn is a homage to shipping and has literally hundreds of shipping artefacts throughout the inn. The bar has a large open fire and is a great place to enjoy a drink in such a stunning old style bar.
