what’s not to like about this lovely hotel?! first of all, we liked very much the idea that it belongs to the community of Gartmore , thus giving it a sense of familiarity and warmth. rooms spacious and very clean, hearty breakfast and a nice, cozy pub to unwind! the manager of the hotel told us about the history of the place and how it ended being sold to the people of Gartmore and we will definitely return!

The deal was really good, breakfast was ok - having warm food during that cold weather was key for us. We also had dinner there for the 2 nights spend, the food was good (a bit pricey though). You can have a walk through the Bannockburn Battlefield which is right behind the hotel. I highly recommend the National Wallace Museum from Stirling as well.DianaYoung couple

Great to be able to park off the road on the drive. Accommodated the needs of the baby - the high chair blow up insert was innovative! Clean throughout too. It was near enough to the centre of Stirling that we could come and go easily (we were 3 adults, a 7year old and a 7 month old).
