We are pescatarians and both found something which we really enjoyed. The room was comfortable and we had a really good night's sleep. The grounds are lovely and I was particularly interested in the tree which has been made into a photo opportunity by hanging lights and hearts from it. Dinner was very nice with good choices as was our breakfast. Staff were friendly,, welcoming & efficient. Golf course en-route to the hotel & walks close by; along the old tow path of the Barnsley canal, we didn’t go too far as unsure where it lead. Other footpath walks close by.

Had dinner here while meeting business friends, meal was great, good value for money in a quirky bar! My breakfast in the morning was great, all local meat which I really enjoyed.
