We had both dinner and breakfast. The food was very good, and hot, and the selection was good. We are pescatarians and both found something which we really enjoyed. The room was comfortable and we had a really good night's sleep. The grounds are lovely and I was particularly interested in the tree which has been made into a photo opportunity by hanging lights and hearts from it. Although on a main road it's a peaceful and pleasant environment. Absolutely loved our stay!

Warm welcome & amazing room with 4 poster bed & delightful bathroom with dressing area. Dinner was very nice with good choices as was our breakfast. Staff were friendly,, welcoming & efficient. Golf course en-route to the hotel & walks close by; along the old tow path of the Barnsley canal, we didn’t go too far as unsure where it lead. Other footpath walks close by.

When I arrived was pleased to be informed that I had been upgraded to a better room, very clean and cosy. Had dinner here while meeting business friends, meal was great, good value for money in a quirky bar! My breakfast in the morning was great, all local meat which I really enjoyed.
