We were very impressed with our stay and found the staff & facilities met our expectations, to include top marks for the monetary value of our stay. We will certainly stay again at this hotel when we next venture into Dorset. We loved learning about the history of the area and the reason why the hotel is called The Rivers Arms. We wish the owners the very best of fortune with their hotel.

Cold water and fresh milk in the fridge, and a cafetière and filter coffee on the tray. The hosts couldn’t do enough for us and as we had an early morning ferry, leaving at 5.30 am, they gave us a breakfast tray with fresh pastries and fruit juice to take to our room to have before we left. We had dinner in the restaurant and enjoyed our scampi and chips and ham, egg and chips.
