What a hidden gem. I needed a place to stay last minute, and this was one of the only places I could find. I really lucked out. This is a family run spot and from the minute I got there, I was treated like a member of the family. If you want all the stuff that goes along with a big hotel, maybe this isn't your spot. But, if you want a very comfortable cabana and the chance to meet and interact with a very nice local family while taking in amazing mountain views, then this is for you. As a solo traveler I highly recommend it, for the experience and interaction.

Hosteria Sudbruck er aðeins 200 metrum frá skíðalyftum Catedral-skíðamiðstöðvarinnar og býður upp á notaleg herbergi með ókeypis Wi-Fi Interneti. Everything and I went in summer. This hostaria has everything: nice rooms (and bed), great breakfast, excellent and super friendly owner who can provide you with all sorts of tips about the region. In summer, it's a nice escape from bariloche tourism madness. Also, it's the perfect basecamp for doing hikes in the cerro cathedral area. I do recommend getting a car on the airport so getting around is a bit easier. Bariloche is only 20 min away so having dinner there is a good option; and then quickly back to sudbruck.

The Patagonian Lake House is an excellent place to stay. All rooms have a view over the lake. The interior is very well designed and cozy. In the surroundings you will find nice little restaurants of every price level. Opposite the house there you will find food trucks that offer take away food, within 100m there is a supermarket. You can ask for dinner in the Patagonian Lake House as well. Only 5km away there is the Llao Llao Peninsula, from where you can do hikes, bike tours or boat trips on the lake. The scenery is amazing. You can get there easily with public transport.

Posada del Ñireco er staðsett í San Carlos de Bariloche, 2,8 km frá Playa del Centenario. Boðið er upp á gistirými með garði, ókeypis einkabílastæði og sameiginlegri setustofu. Wonderful. The location, the tranquility, the animals, the river and its sound, the staff and the owner were great.

Hosteria Bello Horizonte er staðsett í San Carlos de Bariloche, í innan við 600 metra fjarlægð frá Playa del Centro og 3 km frá Melipal. Boðið er upp á gistirými með bar og ókeypis WiFi hvarvetna. Nice place, walking distance from the most interesting parts of the town. We got a room with some lake view. Good value!
