Situated on the outskirts of the village of Shefford Woodlands, The Pheasant Inn boasts a traditional restaurant and a cosy bar with an open fire. Room very comfortable and clean, food is absolutely fantastic! Staff is very helpful and friendly!

The Windsor Trooper is an 18th century public house and inn, with 9 cosy rooms to welcome you. This room above a pub, was exceptional, it really exceeded all our expectations as a family. We booked 2 twin rooms as we were travelling, Grandmother, Mother and 2 teenagers. The rooms were bigger than expected, we had our own entrance, ensuite shower room. We really enjoyed our stay for 1 night but, could have stayed longer, it was so comfortable. Local restaurants were within walking distance.

With a great location just 1 km from the A34 and 1.5 km from Newbury town centre, the hotel has been refurbished to reflect its 17th-century heritage. Our room was very clean, the bed comfortable and cozy, and we had everything we needed, even Nespresso coffee. Parking was nearby our room and the breakfast was delicious. Our room was very beautiful and we also admired how lovely the restaurant area was.

Set in a former Coaching Inn, The Three Swans Hotel, Hungerford, Berkshire boasts traditional charm and period features. Clean and nicely decorated. Very good value for money.

Situated 10 miles from Royal Windsor Racecourse, The Bird In Hand is a 14th-century four-star inn, 4 miles from Maidenhead. Very lovely! Will come back there again :-)

Set in Newbury and with Newbury Racecourse reachable within 12 km, Five Bells Wickham offers a garden, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi and a bar. This 4-star inn offers luggage storage space. Excellent room superb for 2 visitors (and a baby cot), super friendly and helpfull staff, great facilities around the room (free coffee & tea), good location to visit Newbury or Hungerford and National Trust locations, good parking availability and great dinner option for any night before rolling to bed.

The Bull Inn Pub features a restaurant, bar, a shared lounge and water sports facilities in the beautiful village of Stanford Dingley. The inn and the pub were absolutely delightful and the drive down from Oxford was beautiful. The vaulted ceiling in the room was a wonderful surprise!

The Ostrich Inn is set in Slough, just 5 km from London Heathrow Airport. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. Free private parking is available on site. Fantastic pub atmosphere - great one night stop when I had a long layover at Heathrow. Everyone friendly and accommodating.
