A family run business who make you feel warm and welcome from the time you book until you leave. The location is perfect as a base for exploring the local area. I feel I have to mention the very high standard of food. Its not the run of the mill bar food here. Its food fitting of a Manor house. I only wish we had stayed longer to try everything on the menu. All very reasonably priced as well. Real ale behind the bar and an open log fire. Large selection of drinks and food all day and the breakfast was spot on. Whether you are looking for a place to stay or after a meal with a proper local feel then you won't be let down if you give the Manor House a try. Well worth a visit.

The ship inn's location/accommodation/gardens and breakfast was excellent, couldn't ask for nicer,such welcoming hosts my wife and I felt like we were part of the furniture and most certainly will be coming back again 😃

Situated 5 minutes’ drive from the County Durham coastline, The Seaton Lane Inn - The Inn Collection Group features free on-site parking and is just over 10 miles from Durham city centre. Great location for our wedding venue. Lovely cosy vibe. Great quiz on the Sunday night.

The Kingslodge Inn - The Inn Collection Group offers a cosy bar, a restaurant and easy access to Durham city centre. There is free parking on-site. their staff so friendly and kind.

Victoria inn asub Durhamis, Beamishi muuseumist 20 km ja Valguse staadionist 24 km kaugusel. Kohapeal on baar, tasuta WiFi-ühendus kogu majutusasutuses ning tasuta eraparkla. Lovely to stay somewhere with real character. We loved sitting in the bar in the evening. The two ladies behind the bar were really friendly and we learned some history about the pub. Because we have stayed before we were given a complimentary bottle of wine. Thank you very much x
