The Southern Belle is a 19th century luxury boutique hotel and bar with cocktail lounge, offering accommodation adjacent to the Brighton seafront. Unexpectedly wonderful. Authentic. Didn't expect a pub but turned out to be a plus. Very good food for both dinner and breakfast. Spacious room with modern bathroom. Nicest people.

Located in Uckfield, 19 km from Glyndebourne Opera House, Trading Boundaries provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a terrace. The staff was fantastic! The owner came over to ensure everything was fine during our breakfast, the staff from the restaurant was lovely and they did an outstanding job as I have allergic requirements, everything was delicious (and safe, thank you!) The place is a dream, we went to celebrate a birthday surprise for a friend and she was delighted!! The rooms are decorated like in a great literature book, and coffee & tea is also provided, I was lucky to enjoy the morning coffee painting in the middle of nature as they have tables around the place surrounded by nature 😍 Couldn't recommend it more !! We will definitely be back! (Easy access - clear instructions on our way, nice road and close to Brighton - 30 mins by car, without the busy environment over there and the opportunity to visit nearby natural places)

Set in Pett, 38 km from Eastbourne Miniature Steam Railway Adventure Park, Two Sawyers offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. The ambiance was perfect, the food excellent and the staff super helpful and friendly! We loved staying in The Two Sawyers and would highly recommend it.

HUGE, spotless and upgraded room with a charming bar on the main floor. Quiet location and great place to go exploring the cliffs nearby. Exceptionally welcoming staff on arrival and in the restaurant too!

Situated in Rye and with Eurotunnel UK reachable within 41 km, The Ship Inn features a restaurant, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi throughout the property and a bar. Staff was very friendly. The rooms were very clean, the shower had great water pressure, the beds were very comfortable and the breakfast was excellent.

Downstairs it the perfect picture-book English pub serving delicious local produce from the gin through to the venison. I even managed to walk someone else’s dog up through the church yard. The staff were kind and helpful.
