The Southern Belle is a 19th century luxury boutique hotel and bar with cocktail lounge, offering accommodation adjacent to the Brighton seafront. Unexpectedly wonderful. Authentic. Didn't expect a pub but turned out to be a plus. Very good food for both dinner and breakfast. Spacious room with modern bathroom. Nicest people.

The staff was fantastic! The owner came over to ensure everything was fine during our breakfast, the staff from the restaurant was lovely and they did an outstanding job as I have allergic requirements, everything was delicious (and safe, thank you!) The place is a dream, we went to celebrate a birthday surprise for a friend and she was delighted!! The rooms are decorated like in a great literature book, and coffee & tea is also provided, I was lucky to enjoy the morning coffee painting in the middle of nature as they have tables around the place surrounded by nature 😍 Couldn't recommend it more !! We will definitely be back! (Easy access - clear instructions on our way, nice road and close to Brighton - 30 mins by car, without the busy environment over there and the opportunity to visit nearby natural places)

The ambiance was perfect, the food excellent and the staff super helpful and friendly! We loved staying in The Two Sawyers and would highly recommend it.

Just over a mile from Eastbourne Pier on the south coast and 20 miles from Brighton, this award-winning inn has a great location 2 minutes’ walk from the sea. Out favourite stay in the UK. HUGE, spotless and upgraded room with a charming bar on the main floor. Quiet location and great place to go exploring the cliffs nearby. Exceptionally welcoming staff on arrival and in the restaurant too!

The rooms and beds were fantastic. The staff very friendly and accommodating. The evening meal was by far the best we had eaten on our trip. With a group of nine and everybody ordering different things and everybody loved their meal.

The staff were kind and helpful.
