Situated in Stock, 9.2 km from Hylands Park, The Harvard Inn features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar. Just how wonderfully it had been restored with up to date comforts and amazing en-suite with super cool barn doors and sash windows you can open!!! We slept like babies in the bed after a lovely meal in the restaurant and woke up refreshed before having showers to our next stop - will definitely recommend to everyone and eat/stay again. Very friendly personal and quarters to feel comfortable. We liked the existing coffee and hot chocolate powders on the desk. Especially the breakfast was funny and delicious with this nice cook :-)

Excellent accommodation close to Stanstead Airport with wonderful pub restaurant and great staff. Lovely to have air conditioning in bed room!

Boasting a terrace, restaurant, bar and free WiFi, Kings Arms Hotel is set in Stansted Mountfitchet, 200 metres from Stansted Mountfitchet Station and 14 km from Audley End House. A clean and homely room with a lot of consideration for the guests, there were dressing gowns, soaps, good coffee and snacks etc. provided. Staff were wonderful and very friendly. It was a very welcome break when we had to stay an extra night at the airport. Great pub downstairs for socialising in the evening. Would definitely stay again!

Located 9.1 km from Audley End House, The Cricketers Clavering offers 4-star accommodation in Clavering and features a terrace, a restaurant and a bar. What a fantastic surprise! We booked the Cricketers last minute and, although it was late at night and rainy, we managed to find the pub where we were quickly shown to our two rooms. They were both warm and welcoming, with every amenity you could want. My grown daughter was thrilled with her room which was designed with a bit of pink. Ours was a bit more woodland themed and very serene. The bathrooms were top notch and mine was perfectly handicapped accessible. I have limited mobility so I could take a shower without risks. The breakfast was amazing with food cooked to order and many other delicious options. The entire complex is perfect and I wish we could have stayed longer. Nearby market town was SO fascinating for shopping and food!
