On the border of Kent and East Sussex, The Queen’s Inn in Hawkhurst offers luxurious rooms alongside its high-quality restaurant and bar. The room was comfortable, tasteful and very clean. Bathroom was very nice too. We really appreciated the welcoming with brownies, fresh milk and hot chocolate in our room. Breakfast was very good and staff very friendly. Everything was perfect and we really enjoyed the stay.

This address is not to be forgotten and we'll certainly be back on our visits from Belgium to family in Derbyshire. All staff extremely pleasant,professional and helpful. An inn since the 15th century, this beautiful property offers boutique rooms and modern stable rooms with free Wi-Fi, just a few minutes’ walk from the city centre. The friendliness of the staff was just one of the highlights of our stay. The breakfast was amazing, with a great range of choice between cooked and continental. The room was extremely comfortable with plenty of space to spread out and not feel cramped. The shower is a proper walk-in shower and not over a bath, which for us was a much appreciated bonus. It was within easy walking distance to the city centre, Canterbury Cathedral and the bus terminal.
