The host Chris was very welcoming and had some very interesting stories to tell us about the property and area. Nothing was too much trouble for Jane in the kitchen a good choice of gluten free , a great breakfast & evening meal of a very high standard. We had a lovely 2 nights stay & would certainly go back. I loved everything, from the moment you arrive, the pub is picturesque, warm welcome and shown to your room. refreshment provided which was nice after a long day travelling. Breakfast was plentiful and set us up for the day. The room was clean and comfortable. the location is peaceful with plenty of parking. highly recommended

Set in a Grade II listed building dating back to the 18th century, Thornton Hunt Inn is a traditional free-house located in the charming village of Thornton Curtis. The full English breakfast was delicious, as was the house lagers and their salmon. All the staff were extremely personable and lovely to talk to and great to help when you need assistance. And of course Shaun the dog is a pure treat
