If I could give the whole experience of staying at the Pig Inn more than five stars, I would! We were traveling down from Edinburgh and were going to be arriving late, so I called up to ask whether we might be able to eat at the restaurant. Eileen, (a gem of a person and member of staff - so much so, that my husband and I thought she owned the place!) said that, as the kitchen would be closing at 8.30pm, she could take our orders and the food would be waiting for us once we got there. She actually stayed on the phone with me and read out the whole menu for us to choose what we would like to eat! I couldn't believe it. The food was ready for us when we got there, and was absolutely delicious! Eileen made sure we were happy and comfortable and really couldn't do enough for us. She really made our stay so much more special and memorable. Thank you, Eileen! The premises themselves are immaculate and spotlessly clean and very very comfortable. I would highly recommend this property to stay at. I hope we return to the area because if we do, there is no doubt in my mind that we will be staying here. Bravo to all at the Pig Inn! A complete gem of a place.

The room was beautiful, comfortable bed,the shower & bath amazing. The host Chris was very welcoming and had some very interesting stories to tell us about the property and area. Nothing was too much trouble for Jane in the kitchen a good choice of gluten free , a great breakfast & evening meal of a very high standard. We had a lovely 2 nights stay & would certainly go back. Located just 24 miles outside of Lincoln, The Leagate is nestled in quiet village of Coningsby. Place was outstanding, people so friendly and made our dog welcome. Loved hearing all the history of the Inn. Would definitely stay again. In fact is probably near top of my list of favourite places to stay.

Thornton Hunt Inn ligger i en kulturmärkt byggnad med anor från 1700-talet. Detta traditionella hus ligger i den charmiga byn Thornton Curtis. The full English breakfast was delicious, as was the house lagers and their salmon. All the staff were extremely personable and lovely to talk to and great to help when you need assistance. And of course Shaun the dog is a pure treat

The Pyewipe has a rural setting beside the Roman Fossedyke canal, with views of Lincoln Cathedral and castle. It is a 20-minute walk from city centre and the historic quarter. Great location, lovely setting and lovely food! Spacious, clean comfortable room.

It was a beautiful surprising place . Wonderful breakfast amazing room and the stuff was so helpful and kind including upgrading our room as we looked so tired after our long bicycle ride.
