People were adorable to us all the time, very helpful. The room is gorgeous, so unique! I loved it! People with low mobility must notice there are stairs to get to the rooms (not a problem to us). Lovely old coaching inn located to experience the Cotswolds at your own pace. Management and staff were wonderful. We couldn’t have asked for a more enjoyable five days. The cozy bar was very relaxing.
Our room was larger and clean with an excellent walk-in shower. Breakfast large and varied and dinner beautifully prepared.
Remodeled old and charming pub and inn in the countryside along a river. Pub very cozy with warm and welcoming staff. Dinner very good. Toffee pudding was amazing. Room was good size with comfortable furniture. Claw foot tub/shower in beautiful remodeled bath. Cooked to order included breakfast.
An absolute treat staying in a beautiful, historic inn! Rooms were beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was terrific. The location was ideal, just out of Burford, so parking was easy. Property is on a walk trail and we loved the walk - it took us through green fields and past old homes, for a terrific Cotswolds experience!
Very clean comfortable rooms at a lovely historic inn. Really enjoyed it
Great location in a quiet village, nice surroundings. Friendly welcome, cosy place for a drink and for dinner. Room was spacious and comfortable. Parking available on site
Very picturesque and quiet setting. The location is superb for Stratford Upon Avon and some pretty nearby villages. Accommodation is quaint and comfortable ….. nothing fancy but as expected for an old inn. The owners were friendly, happy to provide whatever they can and the food was home made and very good.
Great size family room, delicious dinner & breakfast and lovely friendly staff
Adored this place! This was my second time staying here, but this time, I decided to stay a week instead of two days, and it was even better than my first stay. The great location, cute historic building, and absolutely lovely, kind, and attentive staff all contributed to a wonderful experience. It was also very cosy, which was great since I came in January. I also loved the pub right next door, Turf Tavern, which was a great place to grab dinner or a drink at the end of the day. All in all a great place. I will definitely be back!
