Leek is a beautiful town, everything in walking distance. The bed had lots of pillows which made it extra comfy and luxurious. I felt really safe as a single woman traveling alone. Great atmosphere and friendly locals in the pub. Huge bonus was that the room had a mini fridge! So I could buy a few supplies and food at the market and keep it fresh. Absolutely loved my stay.

The George Inn in Castleton provides adults-only accommodation with a restaurant, a bar and a terrace. The accommodation offers evening entertainment and free WiFi throughout the property. Exceptional location. Very near to the Mamtor hike. Rooms size are big with super king size bed. Their restaurant is usually busy, make sure to book your seat for dinner as you won't get much options nearby. Beer collection is amazing.

Interesting historic building beautifully maintained and decorated. Lovely warm welcome from the friendly and helpful staff. Excellent food and a very comfortable and warm room. Altogether fully recommended.
