I especially appreciated how clean everything was, the spacious bathroom, and the coffee amenities they had in the room. We loved having breakfast at the Brambles Cafe the next morning. The staff was wonderful, and the whole stay was a delight. Inveraray was a pleasant surprise!

We arrived late and had dinner in the pub/restaurant. The quality was way in excess of our expectations. I had a Beetroot cured smoked gravadlax with horseradish cream, cress & toasted sourdough followed by Beer battered haddock & hand cut chips with peas & tartare. The starter was one of the best I have ever had and the main course was the perfect meal for a first day in Scotland. Compliments to the chef!! Our room was spacious with every comfort. A huge comfortable bed with a nice view out the front of the building, and nice bathroom with all necessary accessories.

Kindness & helpfulness were extended from the time we crossed the threshold to our thank yous & good byes. The lovely room overlooked the sea with a walkway winding along next to it. After a delicious dinner we walked in the cool night air enjoying the variety of birds. Our stay was delightful!

The property was recently renovated and is in good condition; the new owners have put a lot of time into making it hospitable and attractive. Parking was easy and the location cannot be beat! Walking, hiking, and so many activities right outside the door. The hosts are very considerate and even included milk for tea/coffee in the small refrigerator and plenty of tea bags and extra coffee. The pub is welcoming and the food was great. Fantastic place and we look forward to returning!

Staff incredibly friendly and took time to make you feel very welcome. Food was sensational and chef was able to put together special dietary meal very quickly and without a fuss. The 'old Scottish Inn' character has been retained while owner has added tasteful and appropriate touches which made for a wonderful comfy, cosy place to enjoy a dram and a blether followed by a short step to a warm bed
