The Globe Inn was a popular meeting place in the 19th century, before being rebuilt in 1901. The staff absolutely raised this place to another level. Nothing was too much trouble. Claire deserves a BIG shout out. She guided us through a moderate medical concern, explaining how NHS works. The bar is welcoming and the suppers are very good. I was just sad we hadn't had a few extra nights. Globe very nicely placed in town if you are on foot too.

The food was fabulous.
