I visited the 1885 with my partner for a friend's wedding in the summer. Having traveled from Berlin in the early morning we were very tired and the manager and bartender both made us feel so at home. He showed us to our lovely room right away, and gave us privacy, and all the essential details. We had mentioned we were hungry and he offered us a menu as soon as we came downstairs after a short nap and a shower. The food was excellent, a terrific steak from locally reared animals and a beautiful fillet of fish – just terrific. My partner had never visited Yorkshire before and I was excited to show her around my region, having spent a long time speaking of the friendly nature and hospitality of my home, I couldn't have been happier with the respectful, friendly, down-to-earth nature of everyone working at the 1885. What a delight, and exceptionally comfy rooms, at a crazy affordable price. If you're staying anywhere in the calder valley I would wholeheartedly recommend the 1885. P.S. great beer and an excellent all inclusive breakfast too

A 15-minute drive from Huddersfield, this traditional pub offers à la carte dining and a range of real ales. It is situated in the heart of Thustonland village, and offers free Wi-Fi. We have been here several times. Always a warm welcome. the room is comfortable, a good bed and a very good s shower. The food is delicious and fresh made

Em Hebden Bridge, a cerca de 12 km de Victoria Theatre, White Lion dispõe de um terraço, quartos não fumador, acesso Wi-Fi gratuito e um bar. The staff were all extremely friendly and the food was fantastic. Highly recommend the White Lion and will aleways stay here when visiting this part of Yorkshire.

The historic Old Bridge Inn & Coffee House is located in the centre of the small market town of Holmfirth beside the River Holme. perfect location, great breakfast, very friendly staff, charming place

The Woodman Inn is set in the heart of Thunderbridge, a small hamlet 4 miles south of Huddersfield. It offers free WiFi and free parking on site. We loved everything, Location was perfect and having off street parking was a relief. I wasn’t expecting what we reserved, 3 level Place. two sleeping rooms. two big bathrooms, loved steamed towel racks. the window on top floor was cracked open and I heard the beautiful birds singing all evening. Plenty of towels and love the fact that they provided shampoo and lotion and soap in all the bathrooms, enough for few days. I was hesitant when booking I was spending more then I wanted but when I got there I was shocked at what I reserved. Lovely spot across street sit and listen to water Dream come True.

The Old Registry guest house is situated in the centre of the village on Haworth's famous cobbled Main Street and offers top quality service in a relaxed and informal atmosphere. Friendly staff, great breakfast and superb location. I loved the rooms and decor and truthfully it was the best night of sleep I’d had in months.
