If you visit Cardiff bay - go see the Welsh government building The senedd amazing building - free to enter. Also the Norwegian church and take a boat ride round the bay. We took a ride on daffodil 🌼 a small boat with a lovely skipper who knew so much about the history of the bay. In a morning we packed so much in. Loved our trip to Cardiff Bay.

Check out the aqua park, bit of a walk away but well worth it for a group of mates to have some good fun. DO NOT get a taxi straight to the aqua park, get it to the bay and walk there, otherwise you'll miss your session trust me

Take the boat from Bute Park, explore the Bay area then walk to Penarth over the barrage. (You can take a boat back to the Bay or walk on the Penarth station for a train (4 per hour) to Cardiff Central.

Hotel Price is Good. A lot of walking to reach the hotel on foot if you have no car with no buses going by the hotel. The hotel is situated in between Cardiff Bay and Cardiff Central so you can walk to both since your in between.
This hostel is based right in the centre of Cardiff close to all of the Welsh capital's main attractions (other than Cardiff Bay but you can get the boat there from close by). Also, the staff were very friendly and the toilets/showers were clean. The hostel also has a cage underneath the bunk beds where you can store your belongings and keep them safe.
Reception was organised and friendly. We were seen and processed quickly. The room was basic and clean. Car parking was £10 a day. Hotel is about a 15 minute walk to the city or Cardiff Bay in the opposite direction. Had a quiet 2 nights stay.
The location is good, close to the center and Cardiff bay. Hotel has a big parking. I heard nothing from outside and it's wonderful. Staff was kind and when i didn't understand something they repeated and explained more. Thank you!
Room had a balcony with view over Cardiff Bay. Stunning. Breakfast was very good with plenty of options for hot and cold buffet. Staff were very friendly at all levels and parts of the hotel. Very well run and didn't break the bank for a 5* at all.
Everything is ideal in the hotel. Location is perfect and a very short walk from the centre and the castle, and a 30 min walk to Cardiff Bay. You get either a stadium view which is pretty cool or a castle view as we did, which is even better. Breakfast is quite nice, too.
Great location with amazing views over Cardiff Bay and the Bristol Channel in the distance. The room was a good size and nicely appointed. The hotel bar had a lovely vibe. But it's really the views that make this hotel.
