    I have visited Weymouth numerous times and love walking...

    I have visited Weymouth numerous times and love walking around the harbour. It is interesting to see the bridge opening to let boats in and out. On this last trip a dolphin followed our boat up into the harbour which was an unexpected bonus. The atmosphere around the harbour is so pleasant.

    A lot more could be made of it, I walked down to where the ferries used to depart from for the Channel Islands. I followed the old rail line still set in the road, a pity something cant be done with this to the advantage of the harbourside.
