I can't believe such a peaceful, nature filled location could be this close to an international airport. Loved the sunroom, garden and how close everything was to walk to, and especially how close to the airport it was. Was pleasantly surprised to find a smart TV in the room as the place has a vey rustic charm to it.

Honestly, would happily stay here for a trip in it's own, the beds were very comfortable, and the bathroom (and shower) was massive, beautiful place, cannot complain.

For a nearby stay to Gatwick airport with parking and shuttle I recommend Acorn lodge hotel. Hard working dedicated staff. We will visit again. However, with a room for the night with a buffet breakfast, we were able to leave our car there for the duration of our holiday. This worked out far cheaper than airport parking alone. The staff are lovely, rooms perfect for a family stay and again, great location. Totally recommend Acorn Lodge

If you want to be locked inside a Gatwick Terminal with no way out apart from through the terminal in the middle of winter, this is the place for you. Appalling. Indifferent staff, decor worse than a travelodge, no food after 9pm (and remember the terminal food places are also closed). Just horrible. At least you only have a five minute walk to check in to your flight the next day.
