My room was 'small but perfectly formed' and had everything I needed for a very comfortable stay. The staff were lovely and breakfast (offered from 9am onwards) exceptional. Coffee also v good.

I’d booked the larger room having read reviews about other rooms being very small. The bed was comfy and everything very clean. We had breakfast at the cafe downstairs which was excellent. The lodge is right near the Elidir waterfalls trail which is a very pretty walk, even in November. We ate in the evening at the Old White Horse where the lamb shank was excellent & the staff were very welcoming and friendly. The lodge was perfect for our short stay and would definitely recommend

Really high quality and the best we tried in Pontneddfechan. The rooms are a little small, but very comfortable and provided everything we needed. Liked the storage for walking boots in the corridor so no need to get carpets muddy! The staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. For walkers, the location is spot on for walks in Waterfall Country - really spectacular scenery.
