  A lovely hotel next to the river, the location is perfect! We got upgraded to a deluxe room which was lovely, the bed was very comfortable with great pillows! The shower pressure was amazing! Breakfast was absolutely beautiful and plenty of it! The staff were fabulous too, especially Colin the handyman! On our departure day we woke to find we had a flat tyre, Colin came to our rescue and went above and beyond to help us out, the guy even took me to a local tyre place in his own car to get ours fixed! Such a comfort to know that gentlemen like Colin still exist! We’d flattened our battery too so when we came to leave the car needed a push, again Colin to our rescue! Thanks Colin, you truly were a godsend!

  On the seconed day ( morning) due to a facilities problem we were NOT provided with any breakfast. ( just a few selected items) This ruined a part of the things we look forward to. I consider that some kind of compensation is due and should be offered. As this event/problem was NOT CORRECTLY DELT WITH & we should have been offered a compensation. In legal terms a important part of the package was not fulfilled. Under the 'TRADING STANDARDS ACT' the package did not meet it legal requiments of the WHOLE BOOKING. It can be deemed as 'NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE' which is to provide the advertised agreement when the booking contract was made

  I felt it was good value for money. I enjoyed the pool and spa facilities. My massage was excellent. We upgraded room and it was big and comfortable. No paintings on wall so slightly bare but that's no worries. Meal was fine rather than amazing. It's not pretentious or mega posh but we enjoyed our mini-break. Staff were friendly.

  Great but small apartment. Separate bathroom and kitchen. The pictures were of the apartments in general, so we were please with the "superior" apartment with separate kitchen and bedroom

  Can't think of anything. The door lock started to fail and complain about low battery, but we phoned the number and someone was round within an hour to fix it.

  Everything was absolutely beautiful, the location was amazing, the place was spotless. Staff were very friendly and it felt like we had our own personal castle!
