Nice breakfast, the room and garden were lovely and located in beautiful setting in the country next to a horse farm, with a great cafe just down the road where we walked and picked blackberries! It’s also close to the village and a short drive to Bath, which was amazing to visit, though it was nice to stay in a quiet home away from the noise and tourists in Bath.

We have stayed at Widbrook Barns several times.  Widbrook Barns is brilliant. The complex is very well maintained and spacious. The accommodation has a very high level of comfort, it has been lovingly furnished, the bathroom is modern and everything is available. The breakfast is very good and all wishes of the guests are fulfilled. In addition, Dick and his wife Jane are very loving and helpful hosts. I had health problems and Dick had driven me to the pharmacy and the doctor. I was very happy about that and very thankful. All in all we can recommend the Widbrook Barns to 100 percent. What a lovely place! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The people and the service are amazing, 10+ out of 10. Not only did they help get our luggage up the stairs, they found umbrellas for us to use on our outings and were there at every turn for anything we might need. The bar staff are super friendly and the cook was amazing. Breakfast is the best I've had, and there were several menu items to choose from. We stayed in the small apartment and really enjoyed having a separate area to watch TV and relax. All in all, we loved our stay here. We would like to return again some day and spend more time with these wonderful people. They truly are the best! ❤️

The property is set in a beautiful little village about 20 mins from Bath by bus. The room was clean and spacious, excellent reception , friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lovely and you could request what you wanted. comfortable bed and it was so quiet , a good nights sleep was guaranteed. great food at the local Pub but would recommend booking.would and will definately go back.

Helen's breakfasts were excellent! Locally sourced sausages, bacon, eggs and all the other foods were fresh and tasty! This property is off the main road, thus very peaceful and relaxing. A great pub is only minutes away! Our room was exceptionally clean and cozy. This is an active farm, and we loved the sheep and animals nearby, with the big event being witness to a new-born lamb! If you enjoy hiking, stay here as there are so many trails to explore. Bath, Bradford, and many other sites are very close-by as well. Highly recommended!!!!

Great rooms above a quaint and homey pub. Book a meal also… my hubby felt like we walked into a movie scene where the locals are all happy, having a pint by the fire… great atmosphere

The inn is so charming with lovely gardens and a warm homey feel in our room as well as the restaurant/pub. Breakfast was delicious as were the meat pies and all the meals the chef prepared for us. Everyone, especially Carly, Brandon and Layla were happy to help us with anything we asked. Thank you all for a perfect first trip to the English countryside!
