Seahouses is a perfect base to explore from.

Seahouses is a perfect base to explore from. Lovely little town with amazing coastal path. If you enjoy walking you won’t be disappointed with this area. Superb scenery from Seahouses to Lindisfarne. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and discovered a lovely old traditional smokehouse in Seahouses. Before walking to Holy Island we enjoyed a coffee at Beal Barn with panoramic views. Driving over to Holy Island an option if you don’t want a very long walk ! Overall enjoyed excellent hospitality everywhere we visited. We’d need a full weeks visit next time to really appreciate that coastline. Stunning ! The Snug a cosy base for the two of us with parking right outside our door

Seahouses is a lovely place something for everyone. I especially enjoy the harbour and the boat trips. Love neptunes fish and chips . Gone to the farms island gift shop for many years it’s an Aladdin’s cave.

The last stop on our 3 day walk of the Northumberland Coastal Path. We stayed in The Olde Ship Inn for one night - quirky but pleasant, helpful staff and good food, evening meal and breakfast. 7 mile round trip walk to Bamburgh Castle along the beach and back along the road was well worth it, interesting castle - good scones and coffee! Superb meal at The Bamburgh Castle Inn overlooking the harbour, I think they serve food all day.

Beautiful view from the pub and the room, the restaurant/bar had lots of nicely arranged seating and a lovely outdoor area. The bedroom was very big and I'm sure the bed was superkingsize! The ensuite was modern and clean. The room had a balcony which overlooked the harbour and because there were lots of large windows in the room, you could wake up to a Seaview The staff were very friendly and helpful too both with the room booking and behind the bar Breakfast was lovely too

Perfect location in Seahouses. Traditional pub with delicious food & attentive, friendly staff. Great choice at breakfast, can recommend the local kippers. Wonderful views of the Farne Islands, Bamburgh Castle & Lindisfarne. Perfect base for touring the area. Comfortable room on the top corridor, a bit of a climb up the narrow staircase but it is an old building. If you have mobility issues I am sure other rooms are available

Very clean and lovely comfortable bed. Warm welcome and nice people. It functions well as a 'hotel room' but has restrictions (see below). Seahouses itself is nice, with access to plenty of things to do. Quite a walk from the Stables at night, but not too bad as long as you are fit and able. Easily accessible by car, with plenty of parking. Lots of places to eat in town but busier than we expected so booking is recommended.

Dunelm House is in a great location, a short walk to pubs and restaurants and the harbour. Suzanne couldn't do enough for us, was very welcoming and even made us a booking for our evening meal at The Black Swan. The breakfasts were great as well and set us up for the day. The room was very nicely fitted out and furnished. Definitely recommend and will be coming back

A very comfortable cottage with plenty of room and well-equipped. It has a lovely garden and table and chairs outside. We found it very clean and well-decorated. Very easy to walk down into Seahouses village (about 10 mins) which has lovely pubs, cafes and restaurants. The Ship Inn was great as were the fish and chip restaurants. We hope to be back soon!

Seahouses is a particularly nice place, even better than we expected. With innumerable excellent pubs and restaurants. This accomodation has excellent parking facilities right outside the door and is absolutely in the centre of town within easy reach of everything including some good restaurants and even a bus stop right outside. Highly recommended.

Great little holiday let - very clean and comfortable, with everything you need for a pleasant stay. Right next to a bakery, butchers, Co-op and several restaurants. Really appreciated little things like tea, coffee, sugar and dishwasher tablets being provided! Lovely base for exploring the area for a family of four.

Ideally placed to explore the Northumberland coast- the beach at Seahouses, and the gem that is Embleton Bay. Dog friendly - need we say more ? Fantastic friendly service from Joan and the team at the Olde School House, the rooms are kept to a very high standard and, yes, the breakfast is exceptional!

It’s understated but comfortable esthetic. The staff. The location. The little restaurant is good. The breakfast is nice. The sitting area / lounge is lovely and the proximity to stellar walking and beach and tide pools and sunrises is tip top.
